Position Summary
The Sr. Marketing Manager will expand and engage OBN’s online community while maintaining our communication standards and brand voice. This role involves developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives by analyzing market trends, identifying target audiences, and developing multi-channel strategies to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and sales growth. Social media management and email marketing strategy are both a key focus of this role, with an emphasis on messaging, content creation, analytics, and conversion. The Sr. Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with OBN’s Director, and Paid Media Specialist to ensure alignment with overall company objectives.
With this posting, there is the option to apply for this full-time position or one of two part-time positions splitting responsibilities:
Sr. Marketing Manager (30 hours/week) covering all marketing responsibilities.
Sr. Social Media Manager or Sr. Email Marketing Manager (15 hours/week each), dividing the responsibilities between social media marketing and newsletter/strategic growth initiatives.

Responsibilities
Perform market research and develop a strategic plan to grow our audience, optimize marketing efforts, and increase student enrollment.
Develop and execute social media strategies to align with overall marketing goals.
Create and curate engaging content (text, images, videos) across various social media platforms.
Manage and optimize social media accounts to increase our visibility and expand our online community.
Track, analyze, and report on all key social media metrics (engagement, reach, conversions, etc.) to identify areas for improvement and increase ROI.
Connect with students, graduates, and content creators to build out our UGC content library as needed, owning those relationships and growing our network for future projects.
Create nurture campaigns, reengagement campaigns, monthly newsletters, and promotional emails that build trust and drive conversions through email communications across various stages of the customer journey.
Craft compelling email design, copy, CTAs, and subject lines, and conduct A/B testing on various email elements to identify optimal variations that resonate with our audience.
Manage lead generation and conduct list segmentation to effectively target audiences and tailor email content based on specific interests, behavior, and purchase history.
Analyze the performance of past email campaigns to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure campaign effectiveness.
Track key email metrics (open rates, click-through rates, sales, and unsubscribes) and generate detailed reports to provide insights and recommendations for future email marketing initiatives.
Develop collaborative partnerships and cross-marketing opportunities with aligned companies and individuals to expand reach.
Identify opportunities to grow, nurture, and incentivize our affiliate program.
Education & Experience
Required
Proven proficiency in planning and managing digital media strategies.
Expertise in creating email campaigns, newsletters, and digital communications for email lists of 15K+ that drive revenue.
Strong background working in social media management and content creation for brand accounts with 50K+ followers.
Understanding of Google Ads and paid media advertising (to work alongside our Paid Media Specialist).
Preferred
Passionate about or experienced in holistic nutrition.
Interested in wellness for fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and babies.
Skills & Qualifications
You must be a self-driven and ambitious tech-savvy professional.
Experience planning and leading online community initiatives.
Ability to identify and track relevant community KPIs, ability to interpret and report on website/social media/paid media/email marketing analytics.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You will be representing OBN in your communications and content development, which requires you to adhere to OBN’s brand, tone of voice, and values.
Hands-on experience with social media management, email promotions, nurture campaigns, and newsletters.
Expertise in online marketing and funnels.
Attention to detail, critical thinker, and problem-solver.
Willingness to grow, adapt, learn, and take and apply feedback. This is an ever-evolving role that requires not only teaching, but also learning from peers, supervisors, and students.

Knowledge & Access
Software: Proficient in and/or eager to learn email marketing platforms (Klaviyo or Flodesk), Google Analytics, social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn), paid media (Google, Meta, and Youtube), Kajabi (learning management system), Zoho (CRM), Zoom (video conferencing), Slack (internal communications), Google Drive (document storage), and any other software we implement in the future.
Reliable internet and computer access, as this is a fully remote role.
Working Conditions
This is a fully remote role and team, which means the working conditions and schedule are up to you. OBN is officially open from Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time; however, you are welcome to set a schedule outside of these hours. You must be available for weekly video meetings with cross-functional teams and your direct manager, as needed.
