About our founder,
Carley Mendes
Carley’s path to nourishing mothers and babies began 15 years ago when she became a Holistic Nutritionist. While her education provided her with a thorough understanding of how to nutritionally support general health, it was sorely lacking in the information necessary to properly support women during pregnancy and new motherhood.
Nourishing this transitional time of life has always been Carley’s passion, so she became committed to working with mentors, soaking up wisdom, pouring over research, and gaining experiential knowledge. As an advocate for empowered and informed birth, she also trained to become a childbirth educator. Carley built a thriving practice and became internationally recognized as a leader in the field of maternal nutrition.
Over the years, other women continually asked her how they could specialize in this field themselves. Unfortunately, this type of education wasn’t being offered anywhere, however, she knew that it needed to be!
Determined to improve maternal health on a global scale, Carley founded Oh Baby School of Holistic Nutrition. The school serves as an international educational platform providing the knowledge and resources necessary to make a significant impact and help transform future generations.
